indifference (not hate) is the opposite of love![/quote]

see here’s my view on it. Love is a VERY VERY tricky word AND feeling. Love can blind you completely to the point you are being taken advantage of. Love is great, when it works! if only ONE side wants/gives love, and the other isn’t all in…it can cost you. that’s not right. so no, i believe love isnt EVERYTHING and conquers all, because not all understand/want/need it.

Love is a double edged sword. it can make you incredibly stupid but make you feel good. very powerful emotion. dark AND light.

No that’s not quite right @Zen One . Don’t mean to be contrary but;

Love is Light. All good things stem from that prime emotion.

All negative emotions stem from loves opposite, fear.

Using your examples; the “dark” of which you speak stems from fear.

Fear of losing ‘love’ creates emotions like jealousy or the need to control through over-protectiveness for example. [It’s actually fear of losing a loved one and feelings of inadequacy that drives domestic abuse that starts with ‘You’re so unattractive you’re lucky to have me’ that eventually leads to control through physical abuse - I’ve heard that story so many times]

So the “dark AND light” is actually two emotions at play; love AND fear.

interesting perspectives, elric… we all have our own. I have those thoughts as well, but also have my own about them. I think we can all agree that right now, need this all more than EVER before. To look within, and be comfortable with ourselves and our thoughts..

“Look within”? absolutely. Know thyself.

Love is the purest force in existence.

All GOOD things come from love - empathy, joy, happiness etc etc

All negative things come from loves direct opposite, fear - hate, anger, jealousy etc etc

We were born from the Divine Womb into a world of love and pure bliss where no negatives dwell. [That memory resides in ones subconscious - why it’s our souls one true desire to return to that place of perfection]

The Adam and Eve story is just analogy for our spiritual birthplace.

Naked = innocent ignorance of anything negative.

Once we choose to start the process of physical incarnation [to earn the right to return to that state of pure bliss] we are exposed to fear and it’s derivatives.

It’s actually one of our big lessons, to recognise that fear [in a relationship for example] negates love in it’s purest form.

@Uncle Thanky , rather than starting a new thread, I figured the White Light technique belongs on this one.

The White Light technique works on the basic principle that 'darkness cannot exist where there is light".

It’s a rather basic yet powerful protection against negativity and negative influence.

Sit or lay quietly.

imagine a beam of bright white/gold/silver light [whichever feels right at the time] coming from the source of All That Is Good, entering the top of ones head [crown chakra] and filling ones body.

It often helps if one ‘sees’ the light as a liquid.

Once the body is filled with Light, then project the Light out until the aura is filled until one is filled with and surrounded by Light.

Many novice practitioners aren’t able to visualise the Light at first.

That’s not a problem. Just by saying the words describing the process, this gives ones Spirit Guides/Guardians permission to assist.

Since I’ve been doing the White Light protection for many years, I visualise the Light but I also say the words as I go through each step.

Which goes like this; "Father/Mother, I command a beam of white/gold/silver [pick one, lol] to enter my crown chakra.

Fill my body with Light. Expand the Light to fill my aura.

It is done. It is done. It is done. Thank you."

Although I usually do this in a darkened room, many find a single light source like a candle helps them to visualise the Light.

Some people think that using the word ‘command’ is a bit sacrilegious but they would be incorrect.

When one prays to the Almighty, one is not asking but rather, putting in ones order.

When one asks, it’s not definitive because asking offers an option.

One way to look at it; imagine how many prayers are asked from humanity on a daily basis.

The Divine has better things to do I imagine. That’s why the Almighty created the Angels to serve His/Her children.

The Angels were created to serve us. It is the Angels who respond to our prayers [though it’s correct to offer thanks to the Divine]

Therefore, don’t ask but rather, respectfully command and always give thanks [The Bible says pretty much the same thing. “give thanks knowing that it has already been given/answered” or words to that effect]

Many people find that when they start practicing the White Light technique that they feel a rise in temperature.

This is just a physical manifestation of the Light that gives them reassurance that the Light is real, not imagined.

Please share your experience after trying this technique and of course, questions are welcome. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

@Elric,

Thank You for that.
We already practice something similar.

We are Us.
Me, Myself, and I. Our Light and Dark.
Each of Us has Our past, present, and Technicolor Dreams for the future.

Yes, We have accepted and embraced that We have equal and full measures of the Light and Dark.
The world and all the religions say choose one and flee from the other.
That’s part of the deception.

As per Isaiah 58

1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

9 Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10 and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:
11 and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Despite the churches best efforts at butchering the Bible [over 14,800 changes between the early Sinai Bible and the KJV alone] much truth and wisdom remains.

Especially in the Old Testament. Psalms and Proverbs in-particular.

The New Testament was Mother Churches creation. The OT had been written long before Christianity.

This is partly why the OT hasn’t been interfered with on the same scale as the NT.

Have to take Wooki for a walk. He’s grumbling ‘patiently’ to himself

Yes the “Autoscroll” feature is fantastic.
@Skyrison, It does work for Us now.

glad to hear it uncle!

also, it’s good to see people chatting here about using their energy and brain to do positive things and have great experiences! I always find that interesting when people have different perspectives on things.

Talking about positive energy; our thoughts, words and actions ALL create energy. [At different frequency levels]

Often one utters words without even thinking about it’s meaning, much less if there’s consequences.

As a Christian country I’ve not ever understood how the words “God” . . . “damn” [I really don’t even like writing those two words together] are in such common use in America.

Let’s look at what it really means; damning the Divine. Not something that I’d consciously say [nor think for that matter]

The Almighty is untouchable so no harm done there, but, and it’s a huge ‘but’; ‘all energy returns to source’ is an immutable fact.

Also, we all have a Spark of the Divine within.

Taking all of this in to account, when one utters “God” and “damn” [especially when said with feeling] one is uttering a curse upon oneself.

Back when I was doing readings, a friend brought one of her colleagues for a chat.

This girl said “I’m cursed, I know I am”. When I ‘tuned in’, I was shown that this girl had a rather foul mouth and ‘God’ . . . ‘damn’ was her favourite utterance.

When I told her that she was the source of her ‘curse’, she looked at me like I was a mental patient.

Our mutual friend looked at her and said “No, he’s right”.

Just thought it worth mentioning because I’m seeing those words quite regularly here.

Here on the forum???

[quote=“Uncle Th”]

Here on the forum???[/quote]

Yep. I don’t really like calling others out [unless they’re asking for it ]

This utterance is one of those things that becomes an unconscious part of ones lexicon. Most don’t intend anything bad by saying it.

I’ve explained this to more than a few people over the years. Most say ‘I never realised’ and some are a bit freaked out once it’s explained.

Others are free to say whatever they’d like of course but I figure it’s only fair for them to understand what they’re really doing when they say it.

We must have missed those threads.
Don’t recall seeing that anywhere.
But We haven’t read all the threads yet.

The expression in question is rarely heard in Oz, probably because we have the word ‘bugger’.

If something is no good or broken, we say “It’s buggered”.

When one breaks something or when drops a hammer on a foot we tend to utter “bugger!” or “bugger it!”

It’s quite a versatile word that often is used instead of ‘fuck’.

Rather than saying 'Well I’d be fucked" we would say “Well I’d be buggered”.

Or instead of “Fuck it” we would say “Bugger it”.

Just several examples.

The amusing thing about it is that although the word ‘bugger’ is not as offensive as the word ‘fuck’, it’s connotations are much worse because being ‘fucked’ [getting laid] is not necessarily a bad thing but to a straight guy, getting ‘buggered’ is a definite worse case scenario.

We did a search and found 68 Damns.
None of them had god in it.

And here in, at least in Our neck of the woods, Damn is used alot.

We use “Fuck” more than anything else.
Have been trying to change that to “Let it Flow”.

That’s odd. I haven’t been hallucinating :scream:.

If I’m able to find one I’ll PM you with the thread and post #.

Words like fuck aren’t necessarily negative as it depends on the intent and the emotion behind the word that dictates whether it creates negative energy or not of course. But I hear ya.

Just the other day I noticed how a mate uses ‘fuck’ as a filler word like ‘umm’ or ‘ahh’. It’s not a good habit. [At one point he was struggling to articulate when I said “Sorry to interrupt but if I’m hearing you right you’re saying ‘the fuck is the fuck who fuck the fuck’. ?” :joy:]

‘Let it flow’ is a good alternative but I’ll stick with ‘bugger’.

Ah. Just did a search and found three examples.

Just go to the front page so the search covers all threads and type ‘god’ and ‘damn’ . . . . .

Now We see.

I must post this here right now. I’m having a moment tonight.

That’s a picture of the view outside of my window EVERY single night in a very old, little town outside Braunschweig, Germany. Right in the middle of the countryside. I was like in another world! I was never before there , in that town or apartment or area EVER. But i FELT like i was one with the place. Like I was HOME. it was absolutely marvelous. I listened to music like this EVERY night while looking out the window at Venus, after sunset and through the night. I was overcome with emotion, and this sense of marvel that we are genuine organic wonderful creatures of this ballet of symphony that are the heavens! that IS the living universe!

I FELT like that was “MY PLACE”, right there in that little town. idk why, idk how, idk what. All I know is I had an experience there that made me feel like nothing else ever has. I need to get back there. somehow. something awakened in me after that. i cant explain it. :')
