You’re welcome! I’m glad to have you here with us in this community. Yes there are a lot of threads and a lot of information and discussion. He will most likely find anything you want to talk about. And if not? You can always make your own thread to get people talking!
Also, if you have noticed, The forum automatically remembers where you left off in whatever thread you were in and it scrolls to that point you left off at so you don’t lose your place from the last reply!
And also don’t forget about the feature where you can swiftly navigate around the forums. If you scroll up a bit and hit the site scroll letters on the left by the big chair once you are at the top where the header is, it takes you back to the main topics page. Also you can hit the title of the topic when you’re scrolling up and it will take you back to the top of the page. But still stay in the same topic
Lots of really cool features here so you can easily and efficiently navigate around the forum!

The quote part is tricky, im used to just having a reply button…

when you click “quote” most of the time it will bring you to the bottom of the page since that’s where the “reply” section is. it will auto scroll down to it and you will see the person’s words there you quoted. right after the /quote] then start your reply after that. but make sure you are at the end of the quote, not the beginning

I’m having trouble with the category function not sure how to tell if I posted in a category or not. Any tips instead of just randomly sticking mud to see if it sticks?

Could you make a category for weather and climate. There’s one thread that talks about it but I’d like a bit more diversity so people can share news/discussions related to big storms/upcoming events or even historical ones. The UK has a few active weather forums which shows there is SOME interest in weather discussion on the web still and someone named Mr Data has threads with newspaper links to really old records on one forum. You can find BBC forecasts back to the 90s when they had push pin style still before computer graphics really got ahold.
I think there is a weather thread. if not, I will rename the “what’s with this weather” thread
