Yeah I know you have an Ai thread already but let’s talk about the topic on hand as in going to Mars (but not coming back), what do you think? would you go?

No.
Mars is already inhabited.
There are underground bases that are not natural.
Plus there is natural life there that’s not compatible with humans.

I’m not sure what you would like to know.
There was The Pegasus Project in the 70’s and some claim to have been teleported as children during that time.
But my information is that humans first went to Mars in 1956 or 57. I don’t know how many but it was more than two dozen and they remained there.
They encountered “Martians” when they arrived. I don’t know if the “Martians” there now are native to the planet or from somewhere else.
They’re larger than us; tall and broad with heavy features much like, but not exactly, those stationed on the Moon.
The worm species is native to the planet and not fond of the others there but not exactly hostile.
