I love writing. Short stories or putting my thoughts down on paper. Anyone else into writing ?
Yes. I am. I love writing too. I have a lot of journals, fancy pens , antique paper and all. Writing by candle light is nice as well.
Writing allows your mind to slow down too. Especially if you write in cursive
Short stories and world building, I enjoy pulling back and seeing the larger world, while tunneling in and giving it detail. I enjoy using different sort of pens, not too many and nothing fancy, but the flow of ink on different types of paper, and all that jazz, transitions to work and doing paperwork, can always improve my detail for the next guy down the line, it’ll get to you when you end up going through a bunch of shit pens that don’t want to work.
I’ve always wanted to try typewriters, I remember the old clicking keyboards and emphasizing pressure and and the like into the strokes of the keys.
oh damn. we got writers in here! very nice past time. my handwriting is meh.
Been working on this one here and there.
World’s are isolated realms materialized through a collective projection, a collage that balances out. These worlds have dense fog outskirts that are basically potential/chaos. You travel through the fog and kind of find what your looking for depending on the state of your mind. New stories unfolding once it comes into focus.
You can bump into others out here aswell as lost ones/ thought forms that can latch onto unsuspecting victims. These can be positive or negative in a sense. However, to much chaos brought into a settled realm may cause destabilization which can cause a “port collapse” which inturn causes emigration causing other ports to desynchronize when refugees start pouring in uninvited.
Been playing around with a swamp city called Dredge, lowish tech, but still scattered from outsiders. Crossbows, coal powered canal boats/ air prop swamp boats, old school radio tech.
nice bump on this one. I like writing a lot. mainly in my journals, some ideas here and there too. that’s awesome you are writing a constructive story, helios!
The Great migration taking place at this very moment has me questioning who we are and where we really come from.
The people in charge have shown us just how easy it is to blur the lines. Repeat the fuckery for a century or so and no one will know wtf is going on.
This is where the fog comes into play - truth is seen through the lies, where mistakes were made inventions were born, and loved ones once separated brought back together all throughout the essence that sounds us. Like a DNA strand weaving in and out, bridges collapse whilst others strengthen, never knowing when or where, yet everything comes out in the wash.

So many layers to who and where.
Reminds me of Mad Sweeney in American Gods
Once a godking, now just a drunken leprechaun with amnesia. All depends who your letting fill in the blanks of your story.
Great people from great places once upon a time, would be nice to have more info but that seems to be enough of a blueprint to at least start from, more seem to come along the way through the ebbs and flow.
As for repeats and fuckery
I like this one, baylan skoll
The fog part reminds me of alan watts story of the Chinese farmer.
I read this - when I was done, a question came to mind about who this was. I answered myself thats Tucker and was kinda bummed when I turned around it and read the name William … but then underneath that it stated “Tucker” ![]()
