freedommmm from the week
nice night for relaxation . I always treat Fridays as the first night of recharging. I have 2 and a half whole days ahead of doing so! ![]()
Saturday 1pm here.
Trimming a couple of branches that I removed from my canna plants.
My dog loves fresh canna leaves and he will also eat buds. He licks his dose of hash oil right off my finger.
So just chilln with my dog and my buds after a couple of pipes.

Rolling thunderstorms and rain here on this lazy Saturday afternoon. Even had small hail earlier.
My German Shepherd, who is a very confident dog, is only scared of three things, wasps/hornets [he must have pissed off one and been attacked by a swarm] fireworks and thunderstorms.
Heās been lying under my feet all day, stuck to me like glue, so I canāt go anywhere until the storms clear.
A rugby league grand final decider tonight; Penrith Panthers v South Sydney Rabbits.
Last nights other GF decider between Parramatta Eels and North Queensland Cowboys was a cracker of a game.
Smashed the crap out of each other good and proper. ![]()
Tonights game will also be brutal. ![]()

Anyone interested; rugby league grand final - Sunday 2nd October 7:30pm EST kick off.
Aww poor doggie. a lot of dogs are scared of sudden noises and big booms. Hope he was alright.
And gl with the rugby match. Hope it was fun.
It came as a real surprise that heās scared of storms because he jumped towards loud noises. [Still does, lol]
He was shaking and distress panting when the first storm rolled through.
I encouraged him to lie down under my dining table at my feet.
Heās a rescue with a shocking history of abuse and neglect. As a result he didnāt trust people. So it actually helped with bonding.
Whenever he heard thunder heād swiftly get under the table. I became his āsafe placeā.
As long as Iām close he no longer shakes or pants.
It was a cracker of a footy game.
Penrith Panthers won so itās a Penrith Panthers v Parramatta Eels grand final next week.
Ours is the toughest rugby league competition in the world.
Thereās talk of two clubs playing a round in Chicago next year.
elric to the rescue! good on you man. i hate when people do stuff to animals. they should have the same done to them. scumbags is all they are
Thanks Tulloch. My health is not the best so I wasnāt looking for a dog, especially not a highly reactive aggressive untrained dog like Wooki.
Once I heard his story and saw how he was totally isolated from any company, not even other dogs, I realised that he needed someone with experience with āalphaā type dogs who lived alone.
He sent the first three who viewed him for adoption to the local A&E [ER] for stitches.
The rescue group had raised the possibility of euthanasia so he was in a desperate position. So I agreed to foster him to train and socialise for a forever home. [He has been the easiest dog to train. Most things I only had to tell him āNO!ā the once. Though I canāt break him of the habit of chasing cats, lol]
Rehoming him would not do him any good so Iāve since adopted Wooki.
Heās a nice natured boy who has not once shown me any aggression. He thinks Iām all that and some, lol.
Heās a fine companion and excellent security.
cmon cmon! get up in her! you guys asleep already!?
Itās rather dead here after midday [Oz time]
1.30pm here. Unusually cool wet day.
Nothing interesting on the idiot box . . . . . think Iāll start decarboxylating some weed for edibles.
ahh i see. yah , i think most people are on u.s. time. then you, and that british fellow are on the other sides of the world. pretty cool
long week this week. gotta start looking for another job to couple with ubereats now that doordash will be out. they are starting a thing where the customer has to SIGN FOR a food delivery drop off. I refuse to do any of that. it was fun while it lasted for about 2 years. ah well. bah
