The Compliment/Kudos Thread 💌

It’s about time we have a thread dedicated to lovely compliments. Words of motivation, appreciation, inspiration, and admiration.

First and foremost, @Skyrison, you are so tolerable and use such a gentle approach, if you aren’t already, you’d make a good dad.

@Sky Cat, although you’re a man of few words, when you do share, you’re detailed and stick to the facts all while staying out of the drama. Good on ya mate :clinking_beer_mugs:

@Elric I significantly admire your strong will and brutally honest mentality. This is hard to come by and had the universe put us closer together sooner, we’d be a force to be reckoned with.

@Assy_McNasty Your power and willingness to share with others shows just how selfless you are. Using your powers to send messages in a way where we hear you without feeling stupid will help fine tune them.

@Tulluck I like your sammiches.

@SᖶᗩᖇSᑢᖇᓰᘿᖇ you too have been patient. Even when times got tough you didn’t give up. You’re a fighter, keep fighting the good fight.

I won’t make this any longer as I could go on all day, but I will be adding to the list, and I hope others will to.

I’ll make all the sandwiches now. Since I’m getting recognition. Wow

wtf red!? no mention about the drink mixers!?

Listen here sweet cheeks, I’m the bartender. I keep it short and simple, and absolutely no white claws or any other alcoholic seltzers.

Thanks for your kind words Red. Love having you here and appreciate your honesty, your feistiness and your strength of mind.

You and I together would be a freakn dangerous alliance ilndksgc

I’ve recognised and mentioned that you are so close to a breakthrough a few times, a step up in the way you see things, with that comes big responsibility because with that wider understanding it reveals hidden abilities [Quite often stuff you’ve learnt over past lives. When the door opens, much of it feels like you’re remembering stuff that you once knew]

During the time when I was actively involved with ceremonial magick, there were more than a few people, mainly younger females, who wanted to become my apprentice. Unfortunately most who seek that path, do so to gain ‘power’.
That’s a dangerous attitude because any power gained would be used unwisely. The reason why I stepped down was simply because my motivation was to seek a higher understanding. The deeper I got into it the narrower the path became.
Once I learned what I needed to learn [remember] I was satiated for the time being. It was sufficient for the here and now.

With that in mind, the times when I sense that your close to a breakthrough, it automatically makes me ponder what obstacle do you need to remove before that door to a higher understanding is opened?
Not that I know but if I did that would not be for me to say.

If you feel that you’re ready, you might want to meditate on it, asking your Higher Self what it is that you need to recognise before that door is opened.

Something tells me that your path here has much to do with your daughter. She’s a sensitive soul who relies on your strength to feel safe in this less than perfect world.
I’m also a ‘sensitive’ and can recall quite well the rough path through my earlier years dealing with that.

On the bright side, it really is a two-edged sword. Once your daughter finds her inner strength, she will be a force to be reckoned with.
Do you ever meditate with your daughter? I bet she’s a natural. You both would benefit big time I think.
Like my son, your daughter is definitely an ‘old soul’. ilndksgc

It’s definitely been a pleasure knowing you, even if it is just on-line smileys-flowers-326174 smileys-kisses-342682

Not a problem at all!!!

Stick a fork in me, and call me done! Something broke inside of me earlier this week, maybe it began last week, whenever it started and why I could not say, but by golly my foot is down!

The world needs more love.

fine fine. fill me up sweets!

Compliments? This place is really good at setting rules and boundaries. And moderating stuff so it doesn’t get out of control. If it does then it’s taken care of pretty quick.

Just my observation

A good idea for a thread, @Ņ̶͙͈̹̺̦͈͈͗̀̐͑̇̍̚w̵̭͔̙̳̩͍̯͔̲̫͋̇̽̒͘ả̴̧̦̞̼̗̳̦̣̮̾̓̈̐́̉͠d̸̼̠̪̹̜͂̈́ͅs̴̨̢̥̦̟̊̆̉͛̀m̷̨̳̺̊͊͠

I thank @Skyrison too for creating this place and keeping it going. Some of us refugees from other forums really appreciate it. Sky’ is a wonderful forum admin and we could not ask for better. A man with a good balance of seeking peaceful co-existence and applying firmness when necessary.

@Lucy Barnable is one such forum refugee, a lady I am honoured to have shared a journey with, from forum to forum, until we found our way here. I thank her for her great intelligence, wisdom, caring and balanced judgment. A bright, shining star whom we are blessed to have amongst us.

@Ņ̶͙͈̹̺̦͈͈͗̀̐͑̇̍̚w̵̭͔̙̳̩͍̯͔̲̫͋̇̽̒͘ả̴̧̦̞̼̗̳̦̣̮̾̓̈̐́̉͠d̸̼̠̪̹̜͂̈́ͅs̴̨̢̥̦̟̊̆̉͛̀m̷̨̳̺̊͊͠ if I did not directly welcome you to the forum, then let me do so now. You have a unique take on things and this is why forums exist: So that, hopefully, forum readers are able to glean perspectives from as many different angles as possible. Even though I don’t know you too well, I can tell that you genuinely care about this forum and this world, as can be seen again from your posts in this thread. You have become a valuable forum member. You are of course right in saying that this world needs more love.

@Elric You are a feisty warrior, always on guard to protect the forum and looking out for the world at large. Your life experience and unique wisdom always add a unique flavour when reading your perspectives on things. You often do not mince your words or hold back expressing your feelings about things. Your zeal is high when it comes to your appraisal of right and wrong in the world. Your fighting spirit is admirable, maybe just be careful of not stepping on any toes of bystanders as you walk along on your mission.

@Treebeard A wise and well-read individual with a great knowledge of history and geopolitics, and a very good writer too.

@Apache54 Another warrior and one with deep experience that allows him to understand the world through a unique lens, even though perhaps not a lens that everyone would choose if it were offered to them. Apache only wants to make his country and the world a better place and protect what he deems worth protecting, an admirable quality. Intelligent and an expert in certain areas.

@Atrand A pleasant forum contributor, always adding his 2c on news and geopolitical matters. A consistent poster who is what makes a forum a forum. Reserved but both passionate and outspoken about world events.

@Tulluck Party guy who likes to enjoy himself whilst making a comment on events every once in a while.

@Zen One Aloof and intelligent; someone who always adds his 2c when he posts.

@Karl Fun and engaging, a long time forum traveller.

@DarkKnightNomeD Zany, fun and sporadic.

@Uncle Thanky A man with a very big heart and eternal positivity.

@anthony A wise poster with health-related and technical knowledge.

Thank you @Sky Cat much appreciated and yes I hear you, I’m working on it trbtjrjq

I’ve known you for some time SC; I actually remember the first time that I saw your avatar that made me laugh, that is as much a part of your forum identity as your handle. Though I didn’t really get to know you until we met up here.

You’ve opened up for me [and hopefully the rest of the forum] an entirely new level of understanding that my research barely touched.
You have a depth of knowledge on the subject of our true ‘ancestors’ [if we can call them that] and the powers that be who control the puppets who we call our leaders, simply blows me away.

Your intelligence, your humour and your ability to sum up a situation in an unbiased, fair, rational and clear manner is impressive and admirable.
The forum would not be half as interesting without your contributions on a wide range of subjects.
Your efforts are very much appreciated.

As for everyone else here; yes, what you said trbtjrjq

Thank you for the kind words, Elric. If anything I’ve said has helped you or anyone see things in a different way then I am glad to hear it. Thanks for the appreciation, I appreciate it.

@Lucy Barnable I read a comment you posted one day about swearing and how it’s not the way to go about things if you want to make friends (or something along the lines of that). I dont even know if you were referring to me, but I thought about what you said, and I started to listen when people around me would swear, and it’s a completely different experience hearing a swear word versus using one. I thank you for this insight for it made me realize my swearing wasn’t doing me any justice in dad to day use.

Lovely idea for a thread!

You and I have interacted much but I enjoy reading your words.

I don’t remember making that post but yes, it’s how I feel and no, it wasn’t directed at you.

I’m happy you found something in it though. There’s so much hostility nowadays and politeness goes a long way.

I’m not actually a prude (although I’ve been called that a few times), I just feel like we are losing what makes a healthy society.

Good manners, common courtesy, respect for others and for nature make a place pleasant.

I can see you are a kind person.

Thank you for your kind words. And I agree, as a whole we’re losing decency.

My grandma was a “proper lady” and insisted we, my sister and cousins, behave in a respectable way.

She was the type who never left the house without makeup and her hair styled and of course she had beautiful clothes.

My grandpa dressed for dinner and it was always served in the formal dining room with pleasant conversation around the table.

She always had something positive to say even when events or whatever were worrying.

I never heard her say anything bad about anyone except for once.

She and I would occasionally go out for lunch on Sundays.

One time a couple was seated at a table next to us.

The woman’s perfume was overpowering.

I suggested we ask to be moved.

She said no, she wanted to leave.

As we walked out the door she said “You know a woman has a dirty crotch when she wears that much perfume.”

I was shocked! I was about 17 and I saw my grandma in a whole new light.

Since then I’m very aware of what fragrance “says” about people.

Small courtesies like being aware others are sensitive to smells and other things make a difference.
