Okay, so I looked and didn’t find any thread for health stuff, so I’m making one …
good thinkin. gotta be healthy and strong!
Some general suggestions:
#1] Eat no sugar (there are alternatives, for example Stevia, that one can use; not that Stevia is perfect; it is however much better than sugar.)
#2] Take fibre (more soluble fibre than insoluble) before each meal.
#3] Find a good probiotic that is designed for daily use and take it.
#4] Eat a small amount of kimchi or sauerkraut before each meal. These are prebiotics, fibre and provide short chain fatty acids.
#5] Eat meat before carbohydrates
The gut microbiome is the most important foundation of physical health. It MUST be kept healthy.
great resources here!
Just reposting these 3 videos here (I already posted them in the Covid thread) …
all good guides. but be careful about them being all youtube. if youtube ever decides to pull em, they’ll be gone. I found the best guides are the written ones!
you sure love videos skycat. you ever do guides or get into discussion or anything about this? cause a lot of the time I don’t want to watch a 10 or 20 minute video on things . I would just like to see the info so I can scroll and pick it out. It just works better that way for information. I don’t mind the shorter videos or quick tips, I always found it aggravating to sit through videos that are long just to maybe pick up 3 or 4 pieces of new information.
cool videos nonetheless

Yeah, sure, Atrand, I do sometimes get into discussions and post useful text. Back in early 2020 I posted my Covid protocol (that I successfully used once I caught Covid) in some places, however none of those forums exist anymore, else I’d copy & paste some of the things I wrote, here.
Yes, I DO enjoy a good video and all of these I posted here are in my view worth the time. These are complex topics (most of them) and so nothing short of a 20 minute presentation does it any justice.
That I could percolate all the important things down into short summaries, is perhaps what you’d like to see, and I can, however, again, in order to do the subject(s) any justice I’d need to write a lot and, well, currently I do not have the time to both watch videos and write a lot.
If you find it aggravating to listen to long videos (I also sometimes find it aggravating) then listen to them on 2X or 4X speed. I do that all the time, it’s a great time saver.
