Twice now We have been asked why We refer to Ourselves as We.
Here goes.

We are Us.
Me, Myself, and I. Our Light and Dark.
Each of Us has Our past, present, and Technicolor Dreams for the future.

Yes, We have accepted and embraced that We have equal and full measures of the Light and Dark.
The world and all the religions say choose one and flee from the other.
That’s part of the deception.

As per Isaiah 58

1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.

I’m a lover not a fighter but there’s been times when I’ve had no choice but to defend myself and others.

When 21yo I was hit by a big drunk bloke who was celebrating his release from the psyche hospital.

Then while teaching this sick prick some manners, six Yugoslavs jumped in.

It’s hard to explain but this was the first time I recognised the ‘beast within’.

It was like an alter-ego ushered me aside and took care of things in a rather efficient manner. [If only they had security cameras back in the day to capture the action ]

It was a bit like an out-of-body experience where I watched the altercation from above.

Due to my religious indoctrination I initially thought it must have been a demon but after a few other incidents I knew there was nothing evil about this alter-ego because he only ‘took over’ in defence when I was facing more than one aggressor. [My local pub could get a bit rowdy at times, lol]

The Beast within is nothing to fear. I see him as a defender.

im not sure why he got sooo mad because people weren’t wishing to talk endlessly about nintendo. I even went on some nintendo threads of his. I personally didnt have an issue with the guy. maybe there was pent up frustration there and he doesn’t get along with many people at other places. seems like he tried to fit in here, but he picked fights first or something sometimes.

i guarantee you he won’t find a place like this. i think you went a BIT too hard on him tbh elric lol. anyway, he’s gonna be hard pressed to find a free speech place where people CAN get into fights and not be reprimanded, or banned or stupid shit like that lol

Sorry but I don’t see the connection between solipsism and the beast within. Care to expand?

While on the subject; one truism is that one must learn how to take care of oneself before one is able to properly care for others.

Many will use that as an excuse to be selfish and self-centred.

It shows how there’s often a very fine line between two conflicting concepts.

Most of us tried to find common ground with Kass but he was only able to see his perspective. He’d get frustrated and stroppy, often to the point of rudeness, with those who didn’t see things his way.

A touch too hard on him? nah. Did you read what he wrote in response to my post where I shared an unpleasant experience with a sick kiddy fiddler?

Inexcusable.

He then wrote “If I knew where you lived you’d be dead” which I received in an email. When I went to the thread he changed that to “I’d punch you in the face”.

Not sure why I was the focus of his meltdown but judging by his posting history it was only a matter of time before he had a hissy-fit.

Kass was typical of those who can dish it out but have a real sook when they receive like in kind.

It astounds me just how many who consciously start on the path of awareness fall at the first hurdle; the negative ego.

The meditation group that I first joined where I learned the basics of the spirit world, had a member who thought he was all that and some.

His claim that put him above the rest of us slobs was that he had been Jesus in a parallel world.

Andrew walked around in ‘Jesus clothes’ with an air of self-satisfaction.

He claimed that he was “so spiritually advanced” that he was “beyond the reach of karma”.

We had some amazing experiences during the three months I attended that group.

I did my best to ignore Andrews claims of how special he was until one night when he informed me that he had “cured a girl of cervical cancer”.

“That’s fantastic” said I thinking that the girl had been diagnosed by an actual doctor.

When I asked by which method did he enact healing he said “Oh I fucked her” with an incredulous tone and look insinuating ‘How else would I have healed her?’. Oh.

“How did you know she had cancer?”

“Spirit told me”.

“I suppose she was a cutie.”

“Yep, a real little hottie” with a wide grin.

Andrew went on to say that ‘spirit’ told him that he had “special healing spiritual sperm.”

That would be hilarious except for the fact that silly girls were falling for that nonsense.

Not wanting to be associated with such sleazy self delusion I called him out in front of the entire group.

The guy who led the meditations would not take sides so the group eventually disintegrated.

Clearly Andrew was confusing the voice of his own ego as his spirit guide.

It astounds me how so many people can fall for others delusions.

When Andrew was asked what he did for a living, he’d adopt a theatrical pose and say “I’m an actor!”.

The truth is that Andrew was an ‘over-actor’ that puts Jim Carrey’s cringeworthy acting to shame.

The guy can’t act for shit.

He lived on welfare and had only ever got the occasional job as an extra.

Not long before I met Andrew, he had convinced the Aussie film industry to get behind a movie project - a ‘feel good’ movie where good triumphs over incredible odds to defeat evil - where everyone involved donated their services free so the proceeds would be split between a few charity groups like Save the Children Fund, Greenpeace and a wildlife charity.

People really got behind it and to be fair, Andrew did a rather good job of sucking people into his project.

The two movie cameras they used were old rentals that had not been tested or used for some time [movie cameras are quite expensive so it was a case of ‘beggars can’t be choosers’].

When it comes to processing movie film, there’s the matter of ‘rushes’ where the days filming is rushed off to be developed overnight so the producers could view the previous days filming the next morning before filming starts to ensure there’s no problems.

But that’s expensive. It’s much cheaper to have the film developed in one lot when there’s no need to hurry.

Everyone involved with actual experience in the industry questioned the need to rush the film off after a days filming. They were told “It’s all good. ‘Spirit’ told me that wont be necessary.”

It’s a risky move so more than a few insisted that it would be wise to at least ‘rush’ the first few films just to ensure that everything was okay with the cameras.

This matter of ‘rushes’ became a bone of contention that really upset little Andy because it challenged his connection with ‘spirit’.

Those who insisted were given a withering look and told “I thought you were a believer” with a derisive shake of the head [Andrew was convinced that he was on a mission for God]

Several months later after filming was complete, hundreds of people had donated their time free of charge. Businesses had donated millions of dollars of equipment and those who had other commitments had donated hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Andrew sent of the film to be processed on the cheap.

The next day he received a phone call from the film developers and was told that he had nothing. BOTH cameras were malfunctioning. It was like someone had left the lens cap on. The entire project was a complete waste of time and effort.

Poor little Andy was shattered. How would he explain this to all those people, especially those who insisted on rushes? [Had he agreed to have had even the first film from both cameras developed, they could have easily have replaced both cameras and only have wasted one days work]

Were that I, I would have crawled into a dark hole and remained there, too embarrassed to even look myself in the mirror.

Not Andrew, he’s made of sterner stuff.

The very next morning after receiving such devastating news, he leapt out of bed proclaiming that all was well because ‘spirit’ wanted a full dress rehearsal, that this abysmal failure was part of the plan all along!

Unsurprisingly, nearly everyone involved were not impressed with his explanation and pulled the pin.

Little Andy was so disappointed. Not in his pathetic failure but in those who refused to believe.

Andrew is now a laughing stock in the Aussie film industry. Not that he allows that to stop him from trying to gather new recruits for his project. [He actually offered me a prime role as one of the leading ‘bad guys’]

In our neck of the woods Andrew is now known as a delusional wanker.

None-the-less, it astounds me that he still had a few loyal supporters the last I heard.

We used to do bible studies in Our apartment.
Many came with their questions.

One day after reading something out of the OT to answer a question;
We looked up, and there were several folks looking at Us with that look.
A voice whispered in Our ear, “This is it! You got 'em! They will give You anything You desire. This is the start of Your own Cult.”

We were flabbergasted.
They shouldn’t be looking at Us like that.
That’s when We thanked them all, and told them that now they had the tools to work out their own salvation.
That was the end of bible studies at Our place.

We think it is a subconscious thought pattern. One that says that on that day “So and So said …” will be a valid excuse.

Far too many people want to be told what to believe rather than to think for themselves.

Forget whom but a Biblical character advised “teacher do not linger” in the same village for more than three days.

The quiet voice within reminded me of that verse when I first received “that look”.

Usually those same people will tear those down from the pedestal they had placed them on previously.

My attitude has also been to empower others to stand on their own two feet so they are able to independently walk the path with confidence knowing that they’re heading in the right direction.

The main reason why I stopped doing readings was because people wanted me to make their decisions for them.

As if my own karma is not enough to deal with. No way would I take on others.

Many thought that I “Knew all”. Nuh sorry mate, I don’t know all, I know enough to get on with it".

It’s good to find someone else who’s on the same page.

Looking forward to the many discussions I’m sure we’ll have over time.

When we get to the subject of the Bible, I get a feeling that we have different perspectives, so that’ll be interesting.

We often ask folks, “What has been the cost.”

We have lost so much, yet gained so much more.
